1. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions purchased on the web are processed by Stripe and can be managed or cancelled in your account settings. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are billed by Apple and must be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID subscription settings, which are reachable from any browser as well as from your device. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

4. Content

All story content provided by the Service is owned by Archipelago Method or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

5. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of the stories, recordings, posts, comments, profile images and any other content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant Archipelago Method a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and display Your Content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. Where you choose to share a story or post with the community, that licence extends to displaying it to other users of the Service.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to submit it. You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these Terms. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies retained in backups or where other users have already relied on shared content.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
